Anmum NZ Social Media Terms of Use
Social Media Community Guidelines & Terms of Use
Everyone is welcome to participate in our social media channels. With that in mind we’ve put together some guidelines to give you an idea of what is expected when you join in a conversation.
These guidelines are for everyone who wishes to participate in one of the social media channels of Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited (along with its subsidiaries, Anmum New Zealand “Fonterra”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).
If you participate in our social media communities then you agree to abide by these guidelines, and we thank you in advance for your contributions and for your help in creating a safe and vibrant online community!
If you have any questions or concerns about these guidelines, please contact us by phone on 0800 266 865 or private message directly via Facebook.
Community
Just like the offline world our social media communities are made up of many people who hold a vast range of views. We think it’s really important to respect one another and not use profanity or abuse other members and their opinions – we’ll enforce this if we have to – in order to keep the communities welcoming for everyone.
Language
We embrace different cultures and nationalities within our social community, however as we are a New Zealand-based business we must ask that all comments and questions in our social networks are in English. This ensures that all members of our community can see and be a part of the conversation as well as helping us to provide you with a fast and friendly response.
Content moderation
We regularly monitor and moderate our social media communities to ensure they are kept friendly. As part of this ongoing moderation we reserve the right to remove comments or posts that:
• Contain curse words or offensive language and concepts
• Threaten in any way our staff, page admins, guests or other users
• Contain hate speech
• Contain degrading or disturbing content
• Contain false statements or claims, or are otherwise deceptive, misleading or unlawful
• Contain personal attacks or discriminate against others
• Are harmful to children
• Contain inflammatory religious or racial content
• Reference a third party page or website including posting a link (unless we’ve agreed to it beforehand)
• Contain confidential information relating to other users
• Endorse or proclaim any illegal activity
• Contain spam links
• Use the page to promote personal causes, charities or business activities
• Violate any intellectual property rights of third parties
• Reference any brands other than Fonterra’s brands
We reserve the right to remove any comments or posts that do not play by these rules, without warning or explanation. Any individual or group found to repeatedly violate this policy will be blocked from this page. Fonterra claims no liability in any way connected to the use of or access to any of its social media channels.
Your confidentiality and privacy
For your safety and protection from identity theft, please don’t post your personal contact details (such as phone number, address, email etc) on our social media channels. If you have questions that involve you divulging any such information please either send it to us privately (i.e. a private message on Facebook, or direct message on Twitter) or get in touch with our call centre on 0800 266 865.
By making any contribution to any social media channel – including comments, photos or videos – you are granting Fonterra permission to reuse this content inside its social media channels. Permission will be sought via an individual request to the owner of the comment if Fonterra wishes to utilise the content outside of its social media channels. Please directly message the page admin with any questions or concerns, or contact Fonterra by phone via 0800 266 865.
Copyright
Excluding sharing with your social network via platform functionality (for example by sharing, commenting, liking), content posted by Fonterra should not be copied and published elsewhere without our prior permission. We require and expect that participants in our communities will not post copyrighted content to our social media channels without the prior permission of copyright holders. We respect the intellectual property rights of third parties and seek permission to use third party content. However, if you are a copyright holder and wish any material to be removed from our social media channels, please notify us.
